This topic is certain to raise eye brows. Prayers that God doesn’t answer!? This goes against everything that is being taught today, at least in the majority of church meetings. Everyone is taught that God always answers prayers. In some circles, He answers by fire and even by thunder. It doesn’t really matter how outrageous the request may be, God will answer it. But the question is; does God answer all prayers? The answer is a capital NO.  If God answered all prayers, the world will be a different place certainly. Some people take Luke 11:9 out context and use it to teach that God will give you anything you ask. “Ask and it will be given to you . . .” (Luke 11:9, N.I.V) It’s tempting (and lucrative, for some preachers) to treat this nugget of Scripture as an ironclad promise. Whatever you ask for — promotion, wealth, the spouse of your dreams — God will give it to you. “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 What happens when we treat the Bible as a random collection of freestanding verses? Well, for one thing, as Tyndale House Publishers editor Keith Williams told Christianity Today, “Philippians 4:13 is going to refer to an athletic performance rather than perseverance through need.” For some, “I can do all things” means scoring touchdowns and clearing the bases. To a pastor I once sat under, it meant driving a car without any prior learning or instructions. He told us how he was asked whether he could drive. He replied, “I can do all things through Christ who gave me strength.” With that, he got on the wheel and drove the car. “For I know the plans I have for you…” Jeremiah 29:11a Jeremiah 29:11 is one of the most misused promises in the whole Bible!” a teacher of mine once proclaimed. “My People perish for lack of Knowledge.” Hosea 4:6 I have sat in many a church services, conferences and meetings and heard speakers encourage the audience to seek knowledge because without it, they won’t get ahead in life and will definitely be destroyed.  They used the above mentioned quote in their attempts to motivate the people to pursue education and knowledge. Is there anything wrong in using the above quote to spur people to seek knowledge? Of course not.  A particular verse that comes to mind, still as I listened to motivational speakers talk their listeners into pursuing knowledge is 2 Peter 1:5-6.  I quote, “For this reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self control; and to self control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.” And interestingly, the word knowledge is found in the verses. There is virtually no country on the planet that hasn’t been affected by the disease in a way or the other. There's been a lot going on with the connection between the corona virus pandemic and 5G. 5G infrastructure have been vandalized the world over because people believed they were the cause of the virus afflicting them. The Christian world has not rested on its head either. It believes 5G is from the devil and is being used by the Antichrist to bring about the one world government. What can I say about all these things? May be it has bad effects on people and the environment. But is it the only thing man has made that has had negative effects on human beings? Even governments meant to serve people always end up killing people. The medicine we take to make us well can also make us sick and even kill us. There is virtually nothing in this that can't bring harm. Even love sends people to the grave. So, if 5G kills, it is not the first time. This morning I saw a notice online. It had been placed on the door of a church notifying the people  that, "There would be no adoration till further notice." I was like what? No adoration till further notice? Well, if you don't know what adoration means, it means worship. No more worship till further notice. It sounds like Worship is a product being sold in that church-shop. They were out of stock and has to place a sign to tell prospective customers that their cherished commodity wasn't available. This sign just go to tell how far the modern church has deviated from the truth of the gospel. Worship couldn't take place anywhere else but in the temple in pagan worship. In African Traditional Religion, worship only takes place in the shrine under the leading of the priest. The church or at least what seems to be the face of the church today has gone the same way.
